We considered the Air Jordan 4’s position in Jordan Brand’s catalog going into the new year and wondered whether it had what it took to be the Jumpman’s top model. Time will tell, but it seems like it will advance significantly with the release of its first takedown model, the Air Jordan 4 RM, and a plethora of intriguing hues. The recently spotted “White Thunder” is a new colorway in the continuing “Thunder” collection, which heightens the excitement.
The new “White Thunder” interpretation is expected to maintain the momentum of the series, given that both the “Red Thunder” drop and the original “Thunder” pair’s reappearance have occurred in the previous two years. This first look at the shoes emphasizes both their suede top and their black-and-white color scheme. Its high-contrast design has a black background with a white Jumpman logo at the heel and tongue. In other places, the black rubber outsole supports the construction while the white midsole displays the Air unit.
As of this writing, Jordan Brand has not responded to our inquiries on the release date of the Air Jordan 4 “White Thunder” version. We presently expect that this shoe will ship on August 24 via Nike SNKRS and select stores for a starting price of USD 215. Stay tuned for developments, including its official unveiling.
