This Summer of 2024, fans of Kevin Durant will have a new signature sneaker to look forward to. The NBA star will be getting his 17th trademark silhouette for the new year, called the Nike KD 17, according to Complex.

The new Nike KD 17 is reportedly inspired by the 1998 Foot Locker-exclusive Air Max Plus and has the same wavy vertical lines as the Air Max Plus’s thermoplastic veins, even though no official photographs have emerged as of yet. About technology, Durant’s newest trademark shoe will have a generative rubber outsole, a TPU shank sitting atop a Cushlon midsole, and forefoot Zoom cushioning.
On May 24, 2024, Nike.com and a few select stores will debut the Nike KD 17 “Penny,” which comes in a palette evocative of the Orlando Magic—white, black, and game royal. The selling price of the pair is $150.
